One of my most enjoyable accomplishments was receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of Delaware. In addition to developing media literacy, I also minored in Journalism, Interactive Media (web design), and earned a Certificate of Business Essentials. Throughout all of my schooling, I participated in several study abroad programs and attempted to brush up on my French.
After a busy three and half years, I graduated a semester early and then continued my education in mass media, earning a Master of Arts in Media Studies from the New School University in New York.
Professionally, I am a public relations executive turned marketing account manager. Previously, I managed an online influencer network for General Mills while supporting traditional public relations media outreach and event planning for the 45th Pillsbury Bake-Off. In this position, I honed my HTML and email marketing skills which helped transition me into my role as an email marketer for various beauty brands. Today, I utilize all of this experience as a marketing manager for a B2B publishing company. After hours, I also freelance as a social media developer, web designer, and copywriter for local businesses.
For fun, I blog about my adventures in New York City as I explore all of the great eats and culinary wonders of Manhattan. I like to keep busy, whether it's jogging, socializing, or creating things I find on Pinterest.
I live in Hoboken, NJ (home to baseball, Frank Sinatra, and Carlo's Bakery), just a short train ride away from my hometown of Hackettstown.
